1. Helpful idea: Words can be very powerful. Suggest substituting "bonus parent" for "stepparent" and "parenting time" for "visitation." These terms are beginning to show up in the literature. Try using these terms and see if this helps the co-parenting relationship. Feedback would be appreciated
2. Helpful idea: When your child/children is having "parenting time" with the other parent, try to keep phone calls at a minimum. Less is better than more.
